“Firentia.”
“Oh, Mona.”
"You walk so fast."
"It's rare for you to come."
“It's almost too late. That's why I'm in such a hurry.”
“That’s true. Come on.”
“Are you alone? Aren’t you with Elena?”
“No. Aren’t you the one whose house is in the same direction?”
“Ah, usually he often comes early.”
"That's what it looks like."
The two of them headed to the classroom together. This morning, everything was going smoothly. Even during class, everything just flowed. Away from what was before her eyes, Mona felt like she couldn't take it anymore and finally went to the restroom. After she arrived at the restroom and finished, she looked in the mirror there and now thought of something that made her feel uncomfortable. In an environment that felt like a vacuum, and even she didn't see anything at all and continued walking as if that was the right thing to do. Her gaze suddenly opened her eyes to reality. Right now, while she was in the restroom. The girls who entered the place, all dressed up, also said something that made her feel emotional. They talked about other people so easily without any guilt. It was at that moment that she began to show her dislike for some people who were always noisy and disrupting other people's lives.
“Excuse me,” said Mona.
"Can?"
“You guys better not act like that, or you're done for.”
“What are you talking about? What did you hear? Ah, I think it was about the child who was in the spotlight at that time?”
“Stop teasing him like that! Are you jealous?”
"What are you saying?"
"If it's not like that, then stop it. Too childish," said Mona who then left the toilet
"Naughty that child."
After embarrassing the person, he left the room and soon afterward met Elena. She gave him a casual look and then smiled at him. The two of them then left the room and headed to a room that was none other than the library. On their way there, Elena suddenly said something to Mona, which made her pause, but she also seemed to acknowledge it.
"It seems you care too, huh."
"What?"
“I heard everything in that toilet.”
"Eh?"
“Your attitude is very good, Mona, as usual you will not stay silent.”
“I just feel annoyed. And besides, it's nothing at all.”
“Are you starting to feel better now?”
“Huh? That… I don’t know.”
“I understand. It's always like that sometimes.”
“Do you feel strange about me?”
“No. You look the same as usual. What’s so strange about it?”
"I'm grateful."
"Where have you two been?" said Firentia who suddenly came towards the two of them.
“We just came from the toilet.”
"Oh, I see."
“Do you want to come to the library?”
"Of course."
Finally, the three of them went to the library. There, the three of them then looked for some books and not long after sat down in the chairs in front of the tables around the place. Firentia took some classic books and apparently she was very interested in them. Elena also took the same book and they both looked serious reading it. Meanwhile, Mona just looked at the pictures without reading it in more detail. She looked like she was lacking enthusiasm and made her feel tired. Her current self was like a teenager who had just experienced puberty. Sometimes she looked normal and sometimes she looked very emotional. Besides, there were several things that made her feel a little frustrated. Everything was getting tiring and she even felt very fed up at times. Therefore, she preferred to be silent.
“You didn't read anything?” Firentia asked Mona who was looking tired.
“No, I’m so lazy.”
“Are you sick?”
"How could that be? It's clearly healthy like this."
“Is something wrong? Why do you look like you don’t want to live?”
“I just feel tired, that's all.”
“Just leave him like that,” Elena said.
"What?"
"That's just how he is, don't be surprised."
“Ah, okay.”
"Hey, don't say nonsense," said Mona with a tired face.
“If you don't feel well, just rest.”
"Not really."
"That is right?"
“Yeah. It's just a feeling of laziness creeping up on me. So it's no big deal.”
"So you really are a classic book lover, huh?"
"Yes, it is."
“Great.”
They were currently in the library, reading several books. One of them, the one in front of them, contained nothing more than a story from the past. It told the ins and outs of the Middle Ages and the works of several famous authors who had won numerous awards at the time. Mona, seeing the thickness of the book, remained silent and played with her phone. While she was playing with it, she accidentally stumbled upon some rather surprising information. Her shocked expression surprised her two friends, who soon became curious.
“Is something wrong?” asked Firentia.
“Ah, this...”
“What’s wrong? Just tell me,” said Elena.
“News about a model who claims she received a terrible service.”
“Model? Since when did you become interested in such things?”
“I just follow some of his social media.”
“Are you really a fan?”
“No. Also, just curious.”
"What a pity for him."
“Don't think too much about it, it's just news.”
“What if it's real?”
“Usually when it's like this, it must be real.”
"Terrifying."
“What did he do?”
“Ah, forget it, this is scary.”
"Too much."
The atmosphere in the library returned to silence after they stopped chatting and then read the books they brought from the bookshelves there.
